South End

The South End is adjacent to Back Bay and Bay Village and is distinguished from other neighborhoods by its Victorian style houses and the many parks peppered throughout the area. The South End is the largest intact Victorian row house district in the country, which is made up of over 300 acres with 11 residential parks. Recently the neighborhood has become coveted by a diverse group of empty nesters, families, and young professionals. The South End is very popular when it comes to entertainment with many restaurants, bars, art galleries, and boutiques located in the neighborhood.
